A growing financial services company based in central Manchester seeks a dedicated Case Handler to join their Sales Support / Case Management Operations team. This role supports specialist underwriters and ensures the smooth progression of loans from initiation to completion. This position offers a pathway to various career opportunities within the company.
 
Experience required:
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience either within an underwriting team or as a case manager in a financial services environment
  • We will also consider individuals that have customer service or administrative experience with a Bank or in Financial Services
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage a process from cradle to grave is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Issuing Loan Terms:
    • Draft and issue loan terms accurately and promptly.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Searches and Due Diligence:
    • Conduct credit and background checks on borrowers.
    • Perform land registry and fraud searches.
  • Documentation:
    • Compile necessary documentation for underwriters.
    • Ensure all documents are complete and accurate.
  • Communication:
    • Liaise with solicitors and brokers to gather required information.
    • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders.
  • Drawdown Process:
    • Collect and verify borrower information for payments.
    • Assess reports from quantity surveyors.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in financial services or loan processing preferred.
    • Understanding of loan products is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in due diligence checks.
    • High attention to detail.
  • Attributes:
    • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
