We're supporting a UK challenger bank with a strong commercial lending portfolio in hiring a Commercial Banking Director to lead and grow their strategic Real Estate Finance division.
The role involves overseeing a high-performing team, managing complex real estate transactions (£10m+), and representing the bank's interests with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

- Structure and execute large CRE transactions across asset classes
- Manage credit, operational, and regulatory risks
- Develop long-term relationships with key market players
- Influence product design, pricing strategies, and internal risk policy
- Extensive experience in Commercial Real Estate Finance
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage large, complex transactions
- Deep understanding of real estate markets and credit structuring
- Strong internal stakeholder management at exec level
- Ability to influence strategy and drive commercial outcomes
